Warren’s focus is on how the economy, policy and global markets are shaping the Australian business and financial operating environment. He looks at the big structural issues driving our society and economy as well the economic cycle and the short-term outlook for markets and industry.
He is regarded as one of Australia’s top economic analysts and is a regular in Australian media. Warren was awarded the Australian Financial Review’s inaugural Top Economic Forecaster in 2024.
Warren’s career started in banking and financial markets where he held various roles over two decades including as Chief Economist of the ANZ Banking Group from 2009-2016.
