Tom Switzer was executive director at the Centre for Independent Studies for 8 years, and is now a Senior Research Fellow. Tom has previously worked at ABC’s Radio National (2014-23), the University of Sydney’s United States Studies Centre (2009-17), The Spectator (2009-14), The Australian (2001-08), Australian Financial Review (1998-01) and the American Enterprise Institute in Washington, DC (1995-98). He has written for The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Washington Post, Financial Times and Foreign Affairs.
