Judith Sloan is an economist and holds degrees from the University of Melbourne and the London School of Economics.  She is currently the Contributing Economics Editor of The Australian newspaper and writes regularly for the Spectator.  A microeconomist, her main interests are labour markets and immigration.  She has held a number of positions, including Professor at Flinders University, various company directorships, Commissioner of the Productivity Commission and Deputy Chair of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.
