Jason Falinski

Jason Falinski was a member of the Australian Parliament until 2022.  In his six years as a member he chaired two key economic oversight committees of the House of Representatives.  The House of Representatives Standing Committee on Economics has oversight of Treasury, the RBA, APRA, ACCC and ASIC.  As Chair of the House of Representatives Standing Committee on Tax and Revenue he was responsible for oversight of the Australian Tax Office.

There are seven parliamentary reports under his chairmanship covering topics from housing affordability, taxpayer advocate, common ownership, retail corporate bonds, the operation of the Reserve Bank during Covid, shareholder class actions, among others.

  

Prior to that he established and ran CareWell Health a health care furniture and equipment manufacturer.  Before this he was Group Executive, Strategy, Mergers and Acquisitions at Insurance Australia Group.

Since leaving Parliament he has established Procare Help, Narractive and Ergo Videatur.  He also chairs Airtrip.

He holds degrees in Agricultural Economics from Sydney University, a Masters of Business Administration from AGSM, Graduate Diplomas from the Securities Institute of Australia, Australia Institute of Company Directors and completed a course at Cambridge University on the transition to NetZero.
