Prof GARY BANKS AO

Gary Banks is a Senior Fellow at the Centre for Independent Studies and Professorial Fellow at the Melbourne Institute. He was Chairman of the Productivity Commission from its inception in 1998 to 2012. Gary subsequently spent four years as Dean/CEO of the Australia and New Zealand School of Government. Until recently he chaired the OECD’s Regulatory Policy Committee and the Australian Statistics Advisory Council. He also spent seven years as an Independent director with the Macquarie Group.
