James Ashby

James Ashby brings a unique perspective to Australian politics, shaped by years in commercial radio across Queensland and New South Wales before entering politics. He joined Pauline Hanson’s One Nation in 2015 and has served as her chief of staff since 2016, helping steer the party’s strategy and operations at the federal level. In 2024, Ashby was appointed leader of One Nation Queensland, leading the party’s campaign into that year’s state election as the candidate for Keppel in Central Queensland, the region he has called home since his teens.
